I'm going to swap the 1000uf 25v with a radio shack 1000uf 35v. I tested the voltage across several cap points on the board and it jumps from high 14v to low 14v. It has to do with the backlights power regulation. When the lights shut down I can still see info on the screen. Many people have had this problem and a solution has never been posted.
